Photography
Photography is treasure hunting. I'll find photos wherever - traveling or not. These days I like the Fujifilm X-Pro1, and the Leica D-LUX super fast ninja. When I find a photo I like, it often reveals something I hadn't noticed before - that was there the whole time.
It's interesting to see software algorithms slowly eating physical camera hardware - less Pixel and more Pixar. I've been able to solve minor issues with tools like Luminar AI. Neural-nets and algorithmic-filters FTW (legit bad news for journalism though). These techniques probably say more about what's inside our heads than outside.
